What LOKWOD collects
LOKWOD stores the account information needed to operate the customer portal, beta and support requests, registered-device details, device check-ins, system readings, and alerts. We use this information to provide monitoring, diagnostics, support, and product improvements.
Local-first operation
Your Well Monitor maintains its local dashboard and equipment profile on your home network. Cloud features use only the information required for your portal, alerts, history, and support experience.
How information is used
- Operate and secure your account and connected devices.
- Display system health, history, and alerts.
- Deliver firmware and provide customer support.
- Evaluate beta applications and product interest.
- Improve reliability and detect misuse.
Infrastructure and sharing
LOKWOD does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure and authentication providers needed to operate the service or disclosed when required by law. Payment information will be handled by a payment provider if self-service billing is introduced; LOKWOD does not currently operate public self-service billing.
Retention and deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information by emailing hello@lokwod.com. Beta applications and support cases are kept while operationally useful. Device, warranty, abuse-prevention, and security records may be retained when legally or operationally necessary.
Children and policy changes
LOKWOD services are intended for property owners and authorized adult users, not children. Material policy changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and version on this page.
Security
LOKWOD uses authenticated access, encrypted transport, hashed device credentials, verified firmware delivery, and operational monitoring. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
